For this animated Series for Studio Bozzetto, I was in charge of drawing the thumbnails and pre-designing the Backgrounds that had to be created anew for every episode, donating instructions to both Background Designers and Storyboard Artists. I was assistant director to Branko Rakic.

In our team, we found an amazing way of collaborating and improving each other’s work, reaching a very elaborated, well studied result, that we probably couldn’t have reached on our own.

This personal project depicts a mood more than a story and is centered around a girl who transforms into a skeleton, suddenly and for unknown reasons. Only one thing can make her become human again, in the end.

Ildebranda was the countess of challant. She was a young woman of authoritarian and slightly vain character. Her loved one was Guendalino, the proud viscount of Verres, who was goofy and cuddly, willing to do anything for his beautiful Ildebranda.

The pigeon always carried out his duties, but the various messages he carried were damaged by the sky's tears, altering the meaning of their conversation.
